CEPA: Communication, Education & Public Awareness

The Communication, Education & Public Awareness (CEPA) programme is ELATHAND’s outreach and knowledge dissemination platform. Meaningful conservation begins with informed people, and awareness is the foundation for positive environmental action.

Through CEPA, ELATHAND communicates scientific knowledge in a simple, accurate and visually engaging manner. We publish factsheets, infographics, educational posters, explainer series, reports, articles and digital content covering biodiversity, conservation, ecological restoration, invasion biology, climate change, sustainability and emerging environmental issues. Educational campaigns marking national and international environmental days inspire public participation and ecological responsibility.

Beyond digital outreach, CEPA is a platform for learning and dialogue. Webinars, online lecture series, expert talks, workshops, panel discussions, conferences, summits, awareness campaigns and community events connect researchers, educators, students, policymakers, conservation practitioners and the public. These programmes encourage knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based discussions.
